Hockey Day in G.A. is an annual 4-on-4 pond hockey tournament hosted by the Gleichen & District Minor Hockey Association to celebrate community, youth, and Canada’s favorite game. Held around Hockey Day in Canada, the event brings together over 130 local players aged 4–17 for a fun, non-contact day of shinny hockey—no teams, no pressure, just pure love of the game. It’s a local favorite that highlights Gleichen’s rural pride and strong community spirit.
